| The Hotel Boreal is situated at the heart of Nice, an ideal location to visit Nice and the surrounding region. Food specialities La socca : ground chick peas flatten out on a huge pizza pan, baked and then you just dig in with your fingers. A great snack you can’t miss! You will find it in the Old Town. Les farcis niçois : tomato, zucchini, eggplant, Bel peppers, or onion emptied out and then stuffed with ground meat, spiced and all. La pissaladière : simply a tarte with confit onions, local olives and anchovies. Salade Niçoise : a delightful composed salad with tuna or anchovies. Seafood: you will find some amazing seafood platters in Nice. Transportation The train station in Nice has frequent trains serving the surrounding region and beyond, Cannes, Antibes, Ville Franche sur Mer, Monaco, San Remo in Italy.... The local bus also serves Eze village, Saint Paul de Vence, Monaco...
